이번에는 SAT Essay 부분에 대해서 써봅니다.

SAT Writing (Essay) / Section 1 (25 Minutes)
- 보통 Essay Prompt들이 비슷하다
Individual vs Group
Society vs Self-Interest
Authority vs Self-Satisfaction
이런걸로 되어있다..

Essay를 쓸때.. 참고해야할것들.
사용할수있는 Examples.
- Historical Figures..
- Historical Events..
- Literature..
- Current Events (사용안하는게 좋지만...)

사용하지 말아야할 Examples.
- Personal Experiences..
- Made-up Situations..
- Hypothetical..

보통 SAT Essay는 이렇게 구성되어있다..
(4 Paragraphs 가 좋지만.. 할수없을때는 3 Paragraphs도 된다.)
Introduction
- Thesis Statement
- Give simple description about the essay
- State a Position (agree or disagree)

Body Paragraph #1
- State Example (3~4 Sentences)
- Link how the example supports your opinion. (2 Sentences)
- End with another thesis statement, explaining the main points of the paragraph, as well as linking back to the introduction.

Body Paragraph #2
- State Example (3~4 Sentences)
- Link how the example supports your opinion. (2 Sentences)
- End with another thesis statement, explaining the main points of the paragraph, as well as linking back to the introduction+1st paragraph.

Conclusion
- 아주 중요한 부분이다.. 왜냐하면, 이 마지막 paragraph가 essay전체를 정리 해주기 때문이다..
- 하지만, 시간상... 부족하면.. body paragraphs 를 더 매꾸는게 좋을것이다.
